Document Processing Associate
Join our team as a Document Processing Associate and play a key role in preserving community records. This position involves on-site document scanning, operating scanning equipment, and ensuring high-quality digital conversion of historical and vital documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume document scanning on site.
- Prepare documents by removing staples and bindings, organizing materials, and staging batches.
- Move, track, and return original documents between storage, prep, and scanning stations.
- Operate, and troubleshoot scanning equipment.
- Capture high-quality images of loose sheets, forms, files, and similar documents.
- Perform data entry & maintain accurate document inventory using MS Excel and internal systems.
- Review scanned images for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Perform basic image corrections and fix scanning errors when needed.
- Assist with other production tasks and perform other duties assigned when not on a scanning assignment.
- Communicate with on-site manager & team leads to ensure timely execution and completion of scanning tasks to maintain project schedules.
- Represent the company professionally at all client locations.
- Follow all confidentiality, security, and data-handling protocols.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with MS Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- 02 years of experience in document scanning, digitization, or office environments.
- Previous experience with scanning hardware like Inotec and OPEX scanners
- Basic understanding of digital imaging concepts (file types, resolution, aspect ratio, etc.)
- Familiarity with microfilm & roll film scanning, editing & image correction is a plus.

- Strong ability to use computers and learn new software and interfaces
- Works well independently; meets production goals
- Comfortable adapting to warehouse or records-storage environments and customer needs
- Willingness to learn internal production systems
Work Environment
- Work occurs primarily in customer warehouses, records management facilities, or office environments.
- Moderate noise levels; use of office and scanning equipment.
- Professional conduct required, as you will represent the company at client sites.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 3050 pounds (project-dependent).
- Frequent movement of files, boxes, books, or film.
- Long periods of sitting or standing doing repetitive tasks.
- Regular use of computers, scanners, printers, and office tools.
- Occasional movement through warehouse or office areas.
- Frequent communication via email and messaging platforms such as MS Teams.
