Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support a large-scale document management project. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, organizing files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring information is properly categorized and stored. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, organizing, renaming, and maintaining digital files while supporting project documentation efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and maintain large volumes of electronic documents
- Rename files according to established naming conventions
- Apply metadata tags and ensure accurate document categorization
- Verify document accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Match files to corresponding project records and tracking systems
- Identify and report discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain organized file structures and document storage practices
- Perform quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Support ongoing administrative and project documentation needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative support, document control, records management, data entry, or file processing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently and meeting project deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Experience with SharePoint, document management systems, or project management platforms is a plus
