Drupal Developer

Job Summary:

The Drupal Developer (Second Developer) will assist the Senior Developer in configuring modules, content types, forms, front-end integration, migration scripting, and QA remediation. This role is essential for increasing delivery capacity and ensuring the successful launch of the project within a fixed 9-month timeline.

Responsibilities:

• Configure content types, taxonomy, views, and forms.
• Develop templates, calendar features, and comment forms.
• Support migration scripting and content migration into Drupal.
• Resolve QA defects and perform regression fixes.
• Provide deployment support and create deployment artifacts.
• Develop Drupal themes and sub-themes.
• Utilize continuous integration tools such as Travis CI, Acquia BLT, and Acquia Pipelines.
• Collaborate using Git and Git Flow workflows.
• Develop custom modules and manage configuration.
• Implement responsive web design and validate accessibility.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of Drupal 8+ development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Experience with Acquia Cloud, Apache Solr, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git and Git Flow collaboration.
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools (Travis CI, Acquia BLT, Acquia Pipelines).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Acquia Certified Site Builder certification.
• Acquia Certified Front-End Specialist certification.
