About YouYou're an experienced Drupal developer who enjoys building and maintaining thoughtful, high-performing websites. You're comfortable working independently, but you also enjoy collaborating with designers, strategists, and fellow developers to bring great digital experiences to life.
You're proactive, detail-oriented, and confident tackling technical challenges without a lot of oversight. You stay current on modern web development practices, communicate clearly, and can easily shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you're located on the East Coast or able to work hours that align with the Eastern Time Zone.
About the JobWe're looking for a Drupal Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of client websites. You'll work across both new and existing projects, with a strong focus on Drupal development and creating digital experiences that perform beautifully across desktop and mobile devices.
You'll be part of a collaborative team building websites that help travelers discover destinations across the United States.
What You'll Be Doing- Developing and customizing websites in Drupal 10/11
- Building and maintaining Drupal themes, modules, and functionality
- Supporting enhancements and ongoing maintenance for existing client websites
- Integrating third- party APIs and web services
- Working with Drupal Canvas to build and manage site experiences
- Troubleshooting technical issues and identifying effective solutions
- Optimizing websites for performance, usability, and responsiveness
- Collaborating with designers, strategists, and developers to bring digital concepts to life
- Strong experience developing and customizing websites in Drupal 10/11
- Solid understanding of Drupal architecture, theming, and module development
- Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience integrating third- party APIs and web services
- Experience with Drupal Canvas
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases
- Strong troubleshooting and website performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality work with minimal oversight
