An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer
to join a leading specialist engineering organisation delivering critical projects across
nuclear, clean energy, defence and civil decommissioning .

within highly regulated, safety-critical environments. Youll work alongside experienced engineering professionals, tackle complex technical challenges and play a key role in delivering engineering excellence.
As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will:
Lead the
design and delivery of EC&I systems
within regulated and safety-critical environments.
Develop and deliver robust engineering solutions in line with applicable
nuclear safety standards .
Provide technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Work closely with
clients, regulators, suppliers and internal teams
to resolve technical challenges and drive successful delivery.
Produce, review and manage technical documentation, including
specifications and safety case contributions .
Support project delivery, technical coordination and continuous improvement across engineering activities.
Help maintain the highest standards of
safety, quality and engineering excellence .
Were looking for someone with:
Proven experience designing and delivering
EC&I systems in regulated environments .
Knowledge and application of nuclear safety standards, including
IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511 .
Experience working within
multidisciplinary engineering teams
on complex projects.
Strong technical communication skills, with the confidence to engage with
clients, regulators and suppliers .
Experience producing and reviewing technical documentation and contributing to
safety cases .
A degree in
Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering , or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartered status
is preferred.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain
Security Check (SC) clearance
for this role.
