Role Overview
The eLearning Developer (Articulate Storyline & RISE) role at Innovatia is responsible for designing and developing high-quality, accessible digital learning solutions that align with Innovatia’s established templates, workflows, and quality standards. This role reflects the full, end-to-end development responsibilities typically expected of Innovatia developers and directly aligns with the capabilities assessed during Innovatia’s Storyline Skills Assessment.
This is a hands-on production role suited to experienced developers who are comfortable working independently within defined standards while collaborating closely with instructional designers, project managers, and other developers.
Key Responsibilities
eLearning Development
Develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360, following client templates, style guides, and naming conventions. Build a wide range of interactions including scenarios, tabs, animations, assessments, and simulations using triggers, variables, layers, motion paths, sliders, and states. Create courses for delivery via web, LMS, and mobile platforms, including appropriate publishing and testing. Ability to customize the Storyline Player, shells, buttons, and interface elements to meet client branding and functional requirements. Accessibility & Quality Standards
Design and develop courses that meet accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, focus order, alt text, captions, and screen reader compatibility. Validate accessibility using tools such as JAWS, identify issues, and implement fixes in Storyline. Perform selfreview and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Innovatia development standards. Audio, Media, and Assets
Integrate and synchronize audio, video, animations, and graphics within Storyline courses. Use Storyline AI or provided audio assets where required. Apply basic video, audio, and image editing to support course production. Localization & Multi-Language Support
Develop courses designed for localization, including text expansion, language swapping, and cultural considerations. Work with translated content and ensure layout, interactions, and accessibility remain intact across languages. Collaboration & Workflow
Work as a creative and technical partner within crossfunctional project teams. Follow established development workflows, file management practices, and organizational standards. Upload deliverables to Review 360, respond to reviewer feedback, and implement revisions efficiently. Experience & Professional Qualities
Minimum 7 years of experience developing eLearning with Articulate Storyline 360. Proven ability to deliver highquality work on time in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to selfevaluate work prior to review. Excellent organizational skills, including ability to adhere to naming conventions and file management. Ability to interpret storyboards and determine client and learner needs. Assessment Requirement
Shortlisted applicants will also be asked to complete a brief Articulate Storyline assessment exercise to demonstrate practical proficiency in using the tool.
