The eLearning Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and converting eLearning training materials to support business units and ensure compatibility with the new Workday LMS. This role involves creating engaging, scenario-based learning content using approved software tools, collaborating with subject matter experts, and managing project deliverables independently.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop training materials using approved software tools such as Articulate, Adobe, Vyond, Camtasia, WellSaid Labs, Kahoot, and Microsoft products.
- Create user interfaces for various platforms including iPhone, iPad, Desktop, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Write audio scripts to support technical topics and develop relevant scenarios with content owners.
- Implement animations and multimedia elements to enhance training effectiveness.
- Research and generate NYPA-specific visuals from provided sources.
- Convert existing LMS courses into formats compatible with the new Workday LMS.
- Develop new interactions and video solutions for LMS eLearning courses and PowerPoint training.
- Collaborate with CLIENT personnel and subject matter experts during the design and development process.
- Publish SCORM 1.2, xAPI, and AICC compliant courseware and MP4 videos.
- Organize module elements and manage content for future updates.
- Provide concise project update reports and prioritize deliverables with minimal oversight.
- At least 5 years of experience in online training development using Articulate Studio, Rise, and/or Storyline products.
- Bachelor's degree in a learning-related field or equivalent significant relevant experience.
- Advanced user of PowerPoint with strong storytelling, scenario-based learning, and animation skills.
- Ability to develop learning objectives, audio scripts, and convert complex technical topics into training solutions.
- Experience publishing SCORM 1.2, xAPI, and AICC compliant courseware and MP4 videos.
- Portfolio demonstrating eLearning solutions including animations and storytelling techniques.
- Working knowledge of project management skills for client interaction during design and development.
- Degree in Organizational Learning, Training and Development, or related field.
- Experience creating and editing video content using Camtasia, Vyond, and Premiere.
- Ability to create or modify graphic elements and interactions within training modules.
- Must be able to work independently and meet quality and timing requirements with minimal oversight.
- Portfolio submissions cannot be hosted on Google Drive due to access restrictions.
- Full-time position supporting CLIENT staff with flexible scheduling aligned to project needs.
