Were recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join a well-established engineering business in Nottingham. This is a broad, hands-on role combining controls engineering, electrical design, project delivery and technical leadership within a specialist machinery environment.
The Role
Youll be responsible for: Electrical and controls engineering across bespoke machinery projects PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment Electrical design and control panel development Supporting machinery build, test and commissioning Working closely with mechanical and project engineering teams Fault finding and technical problem solving Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion Mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers where required Taking ownership of controls-related project activity

Were interested in engineers with experience across areas such as: PLC programming and diagnostics Electrical control systems Control panel design Automation and special purpose machinery Robotics Conveyors and automated handling equipment Machine build and commissioning Electrical CAD Mechatronics Project engineering
