Position: Electrical Designer for Industrial Automation (Contract)
Daily Rate: €200 per day
Location: Mainly on-site in Nerviano or Genoa, Italy
Contract: 6 months initially
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our technical office. You will play a key role in the design and development of electrical automation systems for parcel and baggage transport systems. Your work will involve producing high-quality documentation and ensuring the accurate implementation of electrical diagrams for control panels and field equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-level technical documentation for detailed engineering execution.
- Collaborate closely with the mechanical design team, software team, and production technicians to guarantee seamless system integration.
- Select appropriate electrical components according to project specifications and relevant regulations.
- Follow projects from the preliminary study phase through to commissioning and final handover.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
- Proven experience in electrical design for industrial automation systems.
- Good knowledge of technical and safety standards in the sector (e.G., CEI EN 60204-1).
- Experience with CAD software such as Eplan or Revit is a strong plus.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
- Fluent Italian and basic English required.
