Engineering Manager - Belfast Data Centre
We are recruiting for a permanent Engineering Manager to join a new data centre site in Belfast.
The Role
- Lead engineering service delivery, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are achieved across maintenance, faults, repairs, statutory compliance, and small works.
- Manage reporting, records, budgets, overtime, and other operational costs.
- Identify and support additional contract opportunities and provide quotations where required.
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and value for money.
- Authorise chargeable works and associated invoicing.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and resolve operational issues.
- Liaise with helpdesk, schedulers, clients, and site teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support the call-out rota and act as part of the site's escalation process.
- Drive health & safety standards, compliance, and team development through training and performance reviews.
Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Part of the site's escalation process
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Previous engineering leadership or management experience
