To support the expansion of our Compressor Business Unit in Bologna, we are seeking an Electromechanical Project Engineer to join the project management team. The place of work will be either Bologna or Alberone di Cento (FE).
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the technical execution of assigned projects, liaising with clients, suppliers and internal departments to ensure the project progresses correctly in line with the required timelines, costs and quality standards.
Key responsibilities Act as the client’s technical point of contact during project execution Coordinate project engineering activities Analyse the project’s technical specifications, draft and verify technical specifications for the procurement of electromechanical and process equipment, producing: Data Sheets P&IDs Technical specifications Documentation Coordinate technical meetings with clients and suppliers Support project progress and testing activities Ensure compliance with the project milestones specified by the client Preferred requirements At least 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the fields of gas compression, industrial plant engineering or petrochemicals. Technical diploma from upper secondary school or a degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical experience Knowledge of plant engineering principles in the gas compression sector is an advantage.
