ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a French fintech company that builds tailored financial software solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Europe. From their Innovation Centre in Braga, they're growing a team of talented engineers who thrive on solving complex, high-impact challenges. This is a senior technical role with real ownership over architecture and system design.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You'll own support and development of the company's email application, driving system planning, design, and app architecture. Working within an agile environment alongside developers, product managers, and business leaders, you'll help design new features, improve existing applications for speed and usability, and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise. As a senior team member, you'll also contribute to process improvements and future project proposals.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, with strong knowledge of project architecture and continuous integration/development tools
• 6+ years of experience with email applications and infrastructure (POP, SMTP, IMAP, ActiveSync, CalDAV, etc.)
• Experience developing APIs using Java, PHP, or C#
• Solid experience with Linux (RedHat)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented team managing concurrent projects
• B2 English (Upper Intermediate) or higher

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with Zimbra
• Experience with networking
• Knowledge of French

Compensation: €1.600 – €2.000/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
