Job Mission As a software developer, you will participate in the development of new projects and create new features to improve and maintain existing software applications on Linux platforms. You will develop complete applications dedicated to the management of electrical power devices, including adding a web service that allows users to remotely access and control the device via a web browser. You will be responsible for protecting the technological infrastructure and ensuring the security of our clients' data. Responsibilities Use the official UTI-SW code development, version control, and code documentation tools. Use collaborative work tools in accordance with the Qo S plan. Execute SW development processes in accordance with Qo S. Follow the SW working methodology, as defined in Qo S. Ensure the quality of the software you develop. Meet development deadlines agreed upon in the Sprint Planning. Review and approve code merges in Git Lab and comply with code versioning rules, collaborative work in Git Lab, and ticket management in Redmine, in accordance with Qo S. Functions Usual/Daily Maintenance and improvement of existing applications. Backend software development. User interface development. Application deployment on Linux platforms. Implementation and maintenance of security measures, including firewalls, encryption, authentication, and authorization. Project documentation. Periodic/Occasional Participation in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Support to other departments. Analysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments. Training, supervision, and mentoring of less experienced members. Required Training and Experience
- Minimum 3years of experience as an embedded software developer.
- Solid knowledge and experience modifying the Linux kernel.
- Solid knowledge and experience in the Python programming language.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java Script. Desirable Knowledge and Experience Solid knowledge and experience in the C programming language. Knowledge of the Flask backend development framework. Knowledge of the Vue.Js frontend development framework. Knowledge of communication networks (TCP, Modbus). Experience configuring and deploying Docker containers. Knowledge of cybersecurity (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, RBAC, etc.). Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM) and version control (Git). Minimum Academic Qualifications Engineering or university degree in a science field. Skills Ability to define SW architectures for complex products. Ability to define SW specifications from very high level or even non-existent requirements for new products. High-level requirements analysis. Proactivity. Rigorous method. Teamwork capability.
