Embedded Software Engineer

SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.
This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment.
Summary :
Responsibilities :
- Develop software for active safety or body control production projects
- Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality
- Plan and coordinate software development activities with other global sites
- Internal and customer diagnostics SW design, power moding, HWIO, Autosar stack configuration using tools like Vector DaVinci and implementation and triaging
- Responsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of the software on a hardware platform
- Coordinating with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives
- Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability dEtermination) and Functional Safety process compliance
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
- At least 2 years of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics :
- Bilingual - proficient in English speaking/reading/writing :
- Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
- Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to effectively manage several projects at once
- Strong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile
- Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Master’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
- Experience in realizing ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts - RAM test, ROM test, Lock step, CPU test, MPU, OS configurations for multicore architectures would be big plus
- Experience in RTE generation, make environments, multi-party software integration
- Experience in Low power mode implementation, factory-test software
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and Automotive SPICE
