Job Description
We are seeking an Embedded Software Verification Engineer with ability to work with real-time embedded software verification.
The ideal candidate will be capable of reliably implement a verification strategy as directed and in alignment with verification lifecycles to satisfy DO-178C objectives.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT) or hybrid.
Responsibilities
Perform verification activities as directed for embedded aerospace and defense systems including but not limited to artifact review, test case/test procedure development, analysis and results compilation.
Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
Ensure compliance of verification artifacts in accordance with DO-178C objectives.
Able to work with a variety of testing strategies such as simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
Efficient and accurate implementation of testing solutions in alignment with high-level and low-level requirements, including accurate traceability.
Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
Support verification efforts in alignment to developed schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with internal stakeholders.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
Strong understanding of:
Engineering principles
C/C++ or similar embedded languages
Python and other equivalent scripting languages
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Possibility of travel up to two weeks per year.
