Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and test embedded systems for remote-operated dredging and pumping equipment.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate embedded systems into industrial equipment.
- Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers and processors used in embedded systems.
- Perform system-level testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Create detailed documentation for system designs, including schematics, firmware, and user manuals.
- Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production and beyond.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language.
- Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and digital signal processors (DSPs).
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
- Strong understanding of embedded system design, including hardware and firmware development.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux is a plus.
- Familiarity with PCB design and layout tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with remote-operated vehicles (ROVs) or unmanned systems.
- Knowledge of sensor integration and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with control systems and automation.
- Understanding of power management and energy-efficient design in embedded systems.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
