Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Developer to define and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance gateway and edge computing architectures for connected products built on Linux platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Embedded Linux, C/C++, networking, IoT connectivity, and distributed edge-to-cloud systems.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end gateway system architecture including edge devices, gateway software, middleware, connectivity, and cloud integration.
- Design scalable and modular software architectures for Linux-based embedded gateway platforms.
- Design and integrate connectivity technologies including Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, MQTT, and other industrial/IoT protocols.Develop BSP, device drivers, middleware, containerized services, and application layers.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies including Edge AI/ML, GenAI-assisted engineering workflows, observability platforms, and edge orchestration frameworks.
- Define and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevSecOps practices for embedded Linux and gateway platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development on Linux platforms.
- Proven experience in Embedded Linux architecture and gateway software design.
- Hands-on experience within Embedded Linux, Yocto / Buildroot, BSP and device driver development, Multi-threaded and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Linux networking stack and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Experience with industrial protocols: MQTT, Modbus, CAN and EthernetKnowledge of containerization and edge deployment technologies.
- Experience in secure boot, OTA updates, and embedded cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in embedded systems.
- Ability to stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Good to HaveISAQB Certification
