Senior Encryptation Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Encryption Security Engineer to join a global cybersecurity and infrastructure team responsible for delivering, operating, and evolving enterprise encryption services.

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and enhancement of a centralized encryption platform based on Thales CipherTrust Manager (CTM) and Luna HSM , supporting critical business applications and security services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Encryption Platform Operations

• 
  

• Manage and support enterprise encryption services based on Thales CipherTrust Manager (CTM) and Luna HSM technologies.

• Ensure platform availability, performance, resilience, and compliance with defined SLAs.

• Monitor encryption infrastructure and proactively remediate incidents, problems, and vulnerabilities.

• Execute day-to-day operational activities (BAU) and continuous service improvements.

• 
  

• Support onboarding of new applications requiring encryption services.

• Analyze technical requirements and define appropriate encryption solutions.

• Implement and maintain integrations with enterprise tools and platforms, including:

  • 
    

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  • SIEM platforms

  • Patch Management solutions

  • Virtualization and host management consoles

  • CMDB and ITSM tools

  
  

Security & Technical Leadership

• 
  

• Participate in technical workshops, troubleshooting sessions, and solution design discussions.

• Identify technical risks, blockers, and security gaps, proposing mitigation and remediation actions.

• Contribute to security assessments, audits, penetration testing activities, and compliance initiatives.

• Promote a Security-by-Design and Security-by-Default mindset across all activities.

Encryption Program Support

• 
  

• Support strategic encryption initiatives and platform evolution.

• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new capabilities such as:

  • 
    

  • Double Key Encryption (DKE)

  • Confidential Computing

  • Encryption platform migrations

  • New encryption use cases and integrations

  
  

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Security Engineering, Systems Administration, or related fields. xqbhyrx

Strong knowledge of:

• 
  

• Database Administration (DBA)

• Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems

• Enterprise IT Infrastructure and ecosystem

• ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

Experience working with:

• 
  

• Enterprise security solutions

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple technology domains.
