ppWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Group Analytics enabling team. This role is pivotal in establishing and evolving our global data platform, with Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem as the primary technology direction. /p h3Location /h3 ul liValencia, Spain – hybrid /li liGothenburg, Sweden – hybrid /li /ul h3Mission /h3 pAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will help design, build, and mature our global data platform. Work with Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse and medallion architecture, reusable data pipelines, analytical data models, and modern engineering practices. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liHelp design, build, and evolve our Microsoft Fabric-based global data platform, including scalable pipelines, lakehouse patterns, and analytical data models. /li liDevelop reusable engineering standards, templates, and governed data objects that enable domain teams to build and manage data products. /li liApply modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, testing, and infrastructure-as-code principles such as Terraform. /li liEmbed security, access control, GDPR/PII handling, lineage, and metadata requirements into platform delivery. /li liWork closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, business stakeholders, and domain teams. /li liMentor colleagues and support the modernization and deprecation of legacy BI/DW solutions. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liSenior-level data engineering experience with strong hands‑on delivery, architectural understanding, and ability to design scalable platform solutions. /li liStrong SQL and Python skills, with Microsoft Fabric experience or transferable lakehouse expertise from Databricks, Spark, PySpark, or Delta Lake. /li liExperience with production‑grade data pipelines, medallion/lakehouse architecture, analytical data modeling, and domain‑oriented data design. /li liExperience with modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and preferably infrastructure‑as‑code principles such as Terraform. /li liGood understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, access control, GDPR, and PII handling. /li liCollaborative mindset, with the ability to create reusable patterns and translate business and analytical needs into scalable technical solutions. /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 pYou will help shape the foundation for how data is managed, governed, and used across the organization, building a platform that is scalable, secure, automated, metadata‑driven, and ready for future AI and agent‑enabled ways of working.
