About The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our data infrastructure. You'll work with a variety of modern data technologies to build scalable solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools such as ADF, Spark, and SQL
Support and enhance existing data workflows and infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Implement data modeling strategies for warehousing and lakehouse environments
Perform data transformations using Python/PySpark and SQL
Integrate data from various sources including APIs and RESTful services
Contribute to CI/CD processes using Git and related tools
Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed
What You Bring
Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, or similar)
Shift time - 2 PM to 12 AM IST
Experience with Spark and ADF
Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and CSV
Strong understanding of the Big Data lifecycle
Hands-on experience with Python or PySpark
Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with storage solutions like Azure Storage Accounts or S3 buckets
Understanding of database administration principles
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Redshift
Knowledge of KQL, DAX
Exposure to Power BI for data visualization
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
