This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Human Resources group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Monitor adherence to all safety rules and regulations established in the EHS System, and (ii) Carry out scheduled audits to ensure legal compliance in matters of Environment, Health and Safety, Issue compliance report to managers. Requires 1+ years of experience in a related position and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

  • Carry out scheduled audits to ensure legal compliance in matters of Environment, Health and Safety, Issue compliance report to managers
  • Monitor the compliance of the work teams with the planned inspections program of the business units, ensure strict compliance by conducting periodic audits and reporting the findings to the supervisor, unit manager and immediate supervisor
  • Carry out accident investigations and issue recommendations; maintain recordable and non-recordable accident records
  • Comply with the policies, procedures, and standards established by the company, as well as the applicable federal, state, and municipal EHS rules and regulations
  • Participate in the integration and operation of the Safety and Hygiene Commission
  • Monitor compliance with Internal Work Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety guidelines as stated in company manual to prevent risk and ensure protection of employees
  • Ensure that all warning signs and warning labels are visible throughout the plant
  • Contribute to work-related Risk Prevention and Emergency Response training for all employees
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

Experience

1+ years of experience in a related position


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge in Mexican standards and regulations on Health, Safety, and Environmental protection
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications
