Apple's App Store team is seeking an innovative Engineering Program Manager for the App Store Developer Experience team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role influences and leads the delivery of business-critical features built for the App Store, in collaboration with Engineering, Design, QA, Legal, Privacy, Trust & Safety, Operations, Marketing, and other organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and influence the delivery of business-critical features built and executed on the App Store, working under tight timelines and with limited details and directions
- Drive and oversee all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features, including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, and reporting
- Define the business and functional requirements for the features and the systems that will support these projects
- Own the overall cross-functional schedules that may affect multiple engineering teams, including client, server, tools, reporting, and others
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical program and/or project management experience involving complex server/client interactions
- Experience in basic data modeling, state machine design, and an understanding of the technical and human interaction aspects of tooling
- Bachelor's degree in business or computing disciplines preferred, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment
- Extraordinary communicator at all levels of the organization with a knack for encouraging positive relationships
- Naturally accountable, responsible, and self-motivated
- Strong facilitation skills (requirements gathering, design reviews, cross-functional stakeholder meetings, reporting status, and schedules)
- Willingness to adapt to a highly demanding, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
- Experience with iOS mobile app development a major plus
- Experience utilizing AI in day-to-day responsibilities to improve efficiencies, provide status updates, reporting, etc.
Pay: Base pay range $127,600 – $191,800 CAD. Total compensation includes RSU award eligibility, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, tuition reimbursement, and potential discretionary bonuses or relocation assistance.
