Engineering Program Manager - Security

Meet the Team
The General Security PMO is responsible for leading all aspects of security-related projects and programs within the organization. This role ensures that security initiatives align with business objectives are delivered on time and meet compliance and risk management standards.
Your Impact
- Program and Project Management :Plan, schedule, and lead security projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination :Act as a liaison between security teams, business units, and external partners to facilitate communication and teamwork.
- Performance Metrics :Establish and supervise performance metrics for security projects to measure efficiency and progress.
- Risk Management :Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to security projects and initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting :Maintain comprehensive documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and final deliverables.
- Compliance and Governance :Ensure security projects align with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management :Coordinate resources and lead budgets for security programs.
- Continuous Improvement :Support process improvements and adoption of best practices in security project management.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s+ 5 years of technical field experience, experience in hardware and/or software engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in project/program management in security, IT environments or similar field.
- Experience using program management and reporting tools such as Jira/Confluence, Tableau, Trello, and Microsoft products.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards a plus.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
