In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation electronic components and machine guidance systems, directly influencing cross-functional global project teams and shaping the future of heavy machinery automation. You will serve as the premier risk management authority, guiding the proactive quality strategy from concept to production to ensure our world-class physical products withstand the toughest environments.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Champion the proactive quality strategy across global hardware development teams to ensure high-performing machine guidance products.
Serve as the subject matter expert to coach and mentor cross-functional teams on advanced risk management tools, including FMEAs, boundary diagrams, and P-diagrams.
Integrate data-driven product analytics and supportability insights directly into hardware design and component development.
Facilitate risk-based verification and validation planning while collaborating closely with project managers to secure successful product launches.
Own and elevate quality metrics, risk scorecards, and project review dashboards to communicate product readiness clearly to senior leadership.
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in high-quality product development, specifically involving the design and manufacture of electronic hardware components.
Proven expertise in utilizing industry-standard risk management, problem identification, and resolution tools.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to lead and align diverse, global technical teams.
Bonus Points For
Professional Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Advanced experience in failure analysis, root cause determination, or hands-on product testing.
Background in product support or resolving complex field-based customer issues.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
