Entry Level Assembler | Weekly Pay

The Process Operator assembles and processes electronic circuit boards in a clean, ISO-regulated environment, following detailed schematics, written work instructions, and diagrams. This role involves working across multiple production cells to support assembly, kitting, inspection, packaging, and labeling activities while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The position is available on a structured 4-day work week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic circuit boards by accurately placing electronic components onto blank circuit boards using electronic schematics.
• Follow written work instructions, diagrams, and standardized procedures to complete assembly tasks consistently and correctly.
• Work across different production cells as needed, performing tasks such as kitting, inspecting, packaging, and labeling electronic products.
• Inspect assembled circuit boards and components for defects, alignment, and quality, ensuring products meet established standards.
• Perform kitting activities by organizing and preparing components and materials required for assembly operations.
• Package and label finished products in accordance with documented procedures to support traceability and customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support ISO-regulated and cleanroom standards.
• Adhere to all safety, ESD (electrostatic discharge), and quality protocols while handling electronic components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret basic electronic documentation, including schematics and work instructions, to complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and move between different workstations or cells to meet production schedules and priorities.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with electronic assembly or related production work.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, written work instructions, and diagrams.
• Capability to work in a cleanroom or ISO-regulated environment while following strict procedures.
• Successful completion of an electronics assembly test.
• Successful completion of reading and math tests to verify basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Successful completion of an ESD (electrostatic discharge) test and adherence to ESD handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality.
• Ability to work a fixed 4-day work week schedule on the assigned shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with circuit board assembly and handling of electronic components.
• Familiarity with inspection, kitting, packaging, and labeling processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfort working in a clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated production environment.
• Ability to move between different production cells and adapt to changing tasks.
• Basic understanding of ISO-regulated processes and quality systems.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting production goals and timelines.

Work Environment

The role is based in an ISO-regulated production facility featuring a very clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated work area. The environment supports electronic and cleanroom-style assembly operations, with a focus on quality, safety, and ESD control. Work is performed on structured shifts: 1st shift runs from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and another shift runs from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The setting emphasizes adherence to documented procedures and standardized processes while providing a stable, predictable schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
