Responsible for design, development, modification, debug and/or maintenance of software systems
What will your job look like? :
You will:
- Perform Development & Support activities for Data warehousing domain using ETL Tools and Technologies
- Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to Code, Unit Test & Deploy
- Creation necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
- Support Deployment activities (possible over weekend) to resolve issues & ensure SLAs are met
- Work with matrix team (offshore/onshore) to ensure smooth hand-over and transitions
- Work in Agile environment, participating in all Scrum ceremonies
All you need is... :
Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years hands-on experience in UNIX/Linix & advanced Shell Scripting
- 7+ years hands-on SQL, PL/SQL. Ability to write complex SQL & performance tune them.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowflake utilities
- Understanding of the Cloud concepts and Cloud ETL architecture
- Azure experience - an advantage
Good to have
- Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & work out of the comfort zone in other ETL technologies (Snowflake, Cloud Services Providers like MS Azure). Hands on working experience is a plus
- Eagerness & Hunger to learn
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills within the team, site and with the customer
- Ability to stretch respective working hours when necessary, to support business needs
- Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure
- Consult when necessary with relevant parties, raise timely risks
- Effectively handle multiple and complex work assignments, while consistently deliver high quality work
- Knowledge of AT&T Telecom/Entertainment Business - an advantage
