Event Manager
Our client, a top Fortune Tech Company, is looking to hire an Event Manager in Seattle, WA. Pay rate range: $60-$70, depending on experience. This is a 7+ months contract position with potential for extension. Responsibilities include owning work streams in and around the conference, extremal speaker outreach, and expo part of showcase. This role requires expertise in program management and the proven ability to apply that expertise to various event disciplines (e.g., content program management, expo planning, post-event analytics, etc.). You will operate with considerable autonomy both in program planning and onsite execution, leading critical workstreams during live events while maintaining high standards of excellence. The ideal candidate has a proven history of running events or related workstreams with operational excellence, can work through complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, represent owned programs to senior leadership with poise and sophistication, and anticipate and navigate roadblocks before they become issues.
