Fico Blaze Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced FICO Blaze Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS (ECS, Lambda). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the FICO Blaze Rules Engine, along with hands-on experience in building, testing, and deploying scalable applications in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using FICO Blaze Rules Engine, Java, and Spring Boot
• Develop and implement microservices-based architectures in an AWS environment
• Work with AWS services such as ECS and Lambda for application deployment
• Handle ADB files, execute rule simulations for business scenarios, and support rule testing
• Perform production deployments and manage release cycles
• Contribute as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
• Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery
• Apply AI/automation practices in development and testing processes (where applicable)
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Ensure high-quality code through technical analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on development experience
• Strong expertise in FICO Blaze Rules Engine and related processes
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda)
• Experience handling ADB files and rule simulations
• Strong experience in application development, testing, and deployment cycles
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Experience working in Agile methodologies

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AI-driven automation in development/testing
• Experience optimizing rule engine performance and execution
• Knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns
