We are seeking a talented Java Developer / System Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be based in Hong Kong Island and play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions that drive our client's business success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based applications and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Perform system analysis, design, and architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and code quality
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software engineering industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Min 3+ years application development experience (8+ years will be considered as a System Analyst)
- Extensive expertise in designing and developing complex Java-based applications and systems
- Proficient in software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to deliver innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
