About MasterPro MasterPro Installs Corp is a licensed appliance delivery and installation company operating in different States. We are an authorized installer for major national retail partners and operate a mixed field workforce across multiple markets. We move fast, hold ourselves to high performance standards, and are building the financial infrastructure to match our growth. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who has worked inside field service, home services, trades, or contractor-based businesses — someone who understands what job costing actually means, knows how to read a P&L in an operations-heavy company, and isn't intimidated by multi-state complexity. This is a hands-on role where you will own the numbers from end to end. What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Controls Own the full monthly close process including journal entries, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and variance analysis to the CEO and department leads Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across all accounts Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Manage day-to-day financial operations across QuickBooks Online, Bill.Com, Gusto, and Square Payroll and others KPI Reporting & Performance Analytics Design and own individual KPI dashboards and scorecards for every professional in the company — field and office Build reporting frameworks that translate operational metrics (installs completed, damage claims, survey scores, efficiency rates) into financial performance indicators Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports distributed to team leads and the CEO Partner with operations to align field performance data with job-level cost outcomes Continuously refine reporting as the team scales into new markets Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts Manage and present 13-week cash flow forecasts to support operational decision-making Analyze per-install job costing and track margin by market, job type, and crew Monitor fleet and operational expenses and identify cost-reduction opportunities Multi-State Compliance & Tax Coordinate multi-state payroll tax compliance across CA, OR, LA, TX, and WA Support state business license renewals, sales tax obligations, and regulatory filings across all active markets Serve as internal point of contact for external CPAs, auditors, and any fractional CFO support Maintain workers' comp classification accuracy across W-2 and subcontractor workforce structures Systems & Process Manage and improve financial systems and workflows including QuickBooks Online, Bill.Com, Microsoft Power BI, and Monday.Com Implement financial policies and internal controls that scale with the business Train and support office staff on financial procedures and systems What We're Looking For Experience 5+ years in finance, accounting, or FP&A — with at least 2 years inside a home services, field services, trades, contracting, or installation company in the US Demonstrated experience building KPI reports and individual performance scorecards, not just company-level financials Hands-on background in job costing, per-unit margin analysis, and field workforce financial management Experience managing finances across multiple states including payroll tax and compliance Familiarity with contractor vs. W-2 cost structures and the financial implications of each Skills & Tools Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online Experience with Microsoft Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) Advanced Excel or Google Sheets — you build models, not just read them Experience with Bill.Com, Gusto, Square Payroll, or equivalent payroll and AP platforms Strong communicator who can translate financial data into plain language for non-finance leaders Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required CPA or CMA preferred but not required — real-world experience in the trades and services space matters more to us What Sets the Right Candidate Apart You've sat inside a company where trucks roll every morning and jobs are measured by the install, not the quarter. You know what it takes to hold a distributed field team financially accountable. You've built a report from scratch that a field supervisor could actually use. You don't wait for someone to tell you the numbers are off — you already know before the meeting starts. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Direct line to and collaboration with the CEO PTO Room to grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales To Apply Send your resume and a short note (3–5 sentences) about your experience in home services, trades, or installation businesses to 60;
