POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join a team implementing a next-generation healthcare SaaS platform built from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building scalable, cloud-native applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will work closely with engineering leadership, front-end engineering, product stakeholders, and cloud architecture partners to help deliver a modern healthcare platform built on AWS.
We are looking for someone who thrives in startup-style environments, is comfortable operating with ambiguity, and enjoys helping shape a product at its earliest stages with both ownership and autonomy.
This role reports directly to the Director of Development.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain modern frontend and backend application features
- Develop customer-facing experiences using React and related front-end technologies
- Build scalable APIs and backend services using C# .NET running on AWS serverless infrastructure
- Participate in discussions around system design, security, scalability, observability, and maintainability
- Help implement and manage CI/CD workflows and modern development practices
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative engineering discussions
- Work effectively in an ambiguous startup-style environment where priorities and requirements may evolve quickly
- Help shape engineering culture and processes as the team grows
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with modern React ecosystem tools and frameworks
- Experience with C# .NET backend development
- Experience working with AWS cloud services including serverless patterns and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of modern development workflows and tooling
- Experience working in startup or small-company environments and comfortable operating with ambiguity while wearing multiple hats
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work within U.S. Eastern Time business hours
- Comfortable participating in on-camera meetings and collaborative discussions
Nice to Have:
- Experience building greenfield SaaS products from scratch
- Experience with observability tooling including logging, monitoring, performance tracking, and error reporting
- Healthcare, HIPAA, or security-sensitive application development experience
- Experience contributing to architectural discussions and technical planning
