The Role
As a Frontend Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable frontend solutions while working closely with product, design, and backend teams. You'll play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, mentoring junior developers, and driving engineering best practices across the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Angular
- Build performant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver new features
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Review code and provide mentorship to more junior developers
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance and user experience
- Champion frontend best practices and modern development standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience
- 4 years hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of RxJS and state management solutions
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
