About KPN & the QCarbon / Kult Te
am
Within KPN we are building and operating world‑class networks (No.1 globally in 5G) and continuously digitalising our processes. A key part of this is developing secure, reliable and scalable internal platforms that support critical business operatio
ns.The QCarbon / Kult team develops and maintains a suite of security applications that support Business Continuity Management and Penetration Test Management. These applications are business‑critical and used across the organisati
on.
We are a DevOps product team consisting

ice.
Currently, we are rebuilding the backend from Django / Django REST Framework / Redis to FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, running in Docker on AWS. This modernisation is expected to be finalised in summer ’26 and will enable new functional and technical feat
ures.
The frontend plays a key role in effectively consuming these APIs and ensuring a consistent, secure and high‑quality user exper
ience.
