We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer with advanced React knowledge to join our team.
In this position, you will oversee a well-established library of reusable UI components that form the backbone of our commercial web platform. While there will be opportunities for new development, your primary focus will be on maintaining, optimizing, and evolving these critical components to enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Improve the performance, quality, and maintainability of existing components on an ongoing basis
- Identify and resolve complex bugs or regressions systematically and efficiently
- Work in collaboration with backend developers to ensure smooth and scalable API interactions
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for component behavior and usage to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Partner with designers and product managers to transform business requirements into effective and maintainable frontend updates
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new engineers joining the team
- Play an active role in shaping the next generation of smart product creation tools
Requirements :
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development
- At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3
- Proficiency with state management libraries like Redux and familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Pure
- Proven experience maintaining and refactoring large-scale, production-ready frontend systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, particularly in complex technical environments
- Practical experience working with RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous data flows, with a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical decisions and collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with mínimal oversight
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility standards
- Experience with Angular as an additional frontend framework
