We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer skilled in React / TypeScript to join a growing product team for our client in Valencia. You’ll work closely with a Tech Lead, Product Manager and Designer to build and scale the user-facing layer of a modern content operations platform with AI-powered features.
This is a hands‑on role focused on frontend excellence, with some full-stack exposure when needed. You’ll be part of building the engineering hub in Spain of this company, originally from the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React / TypeScript applications across client, user and admin interfaces
- Translate designs into high-quality, responsive and accessible UIs
- Design scalable component architectures and reusable UI patterns
- Collaborate in 6‑week Shape‑Up cycles, shipping fast and iterating pragmatically
- Integrate with backend APIs and make small backend changes (Laravel/PHP) when needed
- Optimize performance, bundle size and frontend reliability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design and AI teams
Requirements
- Minimum 7‑8 years of frontend development experience
- Strong, hands‑on expertise with React + TypeScript
- Experience in startup or scale‑up environments
- Product‑minded engineer who understands UX, trade‑offs and delivery
- Comfortable collaborating with designers and PMs
Nice to Have
- Full‑stack exposure (Laravel/PHP is a plus)
- Experience with Shape‑Up or similar agile methods
- Experience building design systems or component libraries
- Interest in AI‑powered products or workflow automation
- Be part of the first engineering team in Valencia of this company
