Job Title: Frontend React Developer (NodeJS/WebSockets)

Job Summary

JPMC is seeking a Frontend React Developer to support the modernization of its ATM platform. The role focuses on building customer-facing ATM applications with an emphasis on React, real-time communication, and interactive application development.

This is not a traditional dashboard/UI role the ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing real-time applications using NodeJS and WebSockets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of JavaScript experience
• 2-3+ years of React.js
• 2-3+ years of Node.js
• 2-3+ years of WebSockets
• 5+ years of Cucumber, Jest, and Cypress
• Experience with React state management
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, testing, and performance optimization

Preferred Skills

• AWS (ECS, S3, Lambda, ALB/NLB)
• Spring / Spring Boot / REST APIs
• Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace
• PowerShell or Bash scripting
• Micro Frontends, Terraform, Datadog, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize customer-facing ATM applications using React and cloud technologies.
• Build interactive, real-time frontend applications integrating with backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, development, troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives.
• Write secure, scalable, and high-quality production code with automated testing.
• Contribute to system architecture, performance improvements, and CI/CD best practices.

Tech Stack: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, WebSockets, AWS, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Cucumber, Jest, Cypress.
Frontend/Backend Split: 80% Frontend / 20% Backend.
