Senior Java Developer - PWM

Monthly Salary:
80,000 - 95,000 HKD
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
Modernize core accounting engines into event-driven microservices to support global data streams.
Optimize data-intensive systems handling complex portfolio valuations, accruals, and performance calculations.
Collaborate with global engineering hubs to ensure seamless integration across the PWM ecosystem.
Technical Requirements:
Experience:
7-10 years in Java-based backend engineering within Financial Services.
Core Tech:
Deep expertise in Core Java (Multithreading/Concurrency), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Data:
Strong SQL skills (DB2 or Sybase) and experience with distributed data models.
Architecture:
Proven experience with Microservices and Design Patterns (OOP).
Education:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Advantageous Skills:
Knowledge of Portfolio/General Ledger workflows.
Exposure to Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or NoSQL databases.
