We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong JavaScript, React, and Node.js expertise to build and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has experience developing cloud-based solutions, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.
What you'll do- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications
- Build responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Develop backend services using Node.js, Express, and GraphQL
- Build and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs and PostgreSQL databases
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application monitoring
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using modern testing frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
- Improve application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and modern web application development
- Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices
- Knowledge of automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
- Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps best practices
- Understanding of application security, data privacy, and cloud-native development
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience leading development efforts and mentoring junior developers
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redis, RabbitMQ, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience building cloud-agnostic architectures
- Familiarity with different Agile development methodologies and workflows
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Work Type: Hybrid (4 days per week in office)
- Duration: 12-month contract
