What you will do
- Build and maintain production-grade applications using Python, FastAPI and React.
- Develop APIs, services and integrations within a modern microservices environment.
- Design and integrate LLM, RAG and AI-agent solutions into business applications.
- Work with technologies such as MCP, A2A, LangChain and/or LangGraph.
- Develop data-access layers using SQLAlchemy and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Implement asynchronous services, queues and messaging using technologies such as RabbitMQ.
- Build secure applications using authentication and identity technologies such as OAuth, SAML and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript and CSS, including microfrontend architectures where applicable.
- Write automated tests with Pytest and maintain high standards for code quality.
- Containerise and deploy applications using Docker/Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with developers, architects and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Take ownership of deliverables, proactively propose improvements and contribute to technical decisions.
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in a full-stack environment.
- Strong professional experience with Python and API/backend development, particularly FastAPI.
- Solid React/JavaScript development experience.
- Practical experience building or integrating LLM-powered applications, AI agents, RAG or related generative-AI solutions.
- Good understanding of relational databases and ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with messaging/async architectures, ideally RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of application security and identity technologies such as OAuth, SAML and/or Entra ID.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD; Azure DevOps and/or Argo CD is an advantage.
- Experience with automated testing, preferably Pytest.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, ownership and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
