Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Full Stack AI Engineer for our client, a tech startup building infrastructure for organizations adopting AI at scale! This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a 100% remote schedule (EST or CST preferred).

- Own features end-to-end while contributing to technical decisions and product development
- Build responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Rust
- Integrate applications with cloud infrastructure
- Design and maintain databases, integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop AI-powered features involving LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents as needed
- Monitor and improve application reliability, performance, security, and cost
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Production experience with React
- Experience developing backend APIs and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Cloud, Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Rust, Go, or another statically typed language a plus
- Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt evaluation a plus
- Familiarity with profiling tools and performance optimization techniques preferred
This full-time position offers an annual base salary up to $210k, commensurate with experience.
