ENVIRONMENT:
Our Client is an AI transformation agency: clients describe a bottleneck slowing their business down, and they build the software, automation, or AI system that removes it. They are looking for a talented Full Stack AI Engineer with 2–4 years of commercial software development experience to help build and scale the AI-powered products behind their client’s work. This role is for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, takes ownership, and delivers production-ready software rather than prototypes. You'll be building the actual systems clients depend on, not demos, often standing up a working pilot in days or weeks rather than quarters.
DUTIES:
• Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and databases, primarily in Python.
• Deploy, manage, and optimise production environments on AWS, Azure, or Vercel.
• Build secure applications with authentication, payments, billing, and multi-tenancy.
• Integrate AI technologies including LLM APIs, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), ensuring they're robust and reliable in production, not just wrappers or demos.
• Own projects end-to-end, from architecture through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product and leadership teams to rapidly turn client problems into market-ready systems.
• Python proficiency is a firm requirement for this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong backend engineering and database design, with solid commercial experience in Python.
• Cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD knowledge.
• Practical experience deploying and maintaining production applications.
• The ability to build scalable, AI-enabled products , not just wrappers or demos.
• Commercial judgement, initiative, and a bias for execution.
ATTRIBUTES:
• You're ambitious, curious, and pragmatic.
• You move quickly, solve problems independently, and enjoy taking responsibility.
• The company values capability, ownership, and the quality of what you build far more than a degree or expertise in any one particular technology stack.
