Senior Full Stack AI Engineer (Python, React & AWS)
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $160K $180K Base + 10% Bonus
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to build and deploy production-grade AI-powered applications. This role involves developing scalable web applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions using modern full-stack technologies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative software while leveraging cloud-native architectures and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications and APIs.
- Build and ship AI-powered applications into production.
- Develop backend services using Python and modern web technologies.
- Create responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, testing, and production support.
Required Skills
- 3 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python development experience (required).
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/LLM-powered applications.
- AWS cloud experience.
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Terraform).
- Docker, GitHub, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- SQL and PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases).
- Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agentic AI workflows or AI application frameworks.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI developer tools.
- Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
