Job Overview
Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an ongoing basis with the Business Systems Analyst.
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, and/or enhances existing or new systems/web pages that are reliable and efficient. Responsible for writing and updating full-stack applications on existing hardware and business processes. Performs Power BI dashboard development, SQL data structuring, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud development. Experience with Agile methodology, software lifecycle, and Scrum ceremonies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration efforts for new or existing applications.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and enhance existing or new systems and web pages.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, and full-stack applications.
- Perform SQL data structuring, API integrations, workflow automation, and cloud development.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and cross-functional project teams.
- Mentor junior developers and assist in Agile project planning.
- Participate in Agile methodology, software development lifecycle activities, and Scrum ceremonies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and project artifacts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6 10 years of experience in application development, cloud computing, and enterprise software architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, .NET, AWS, and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation (CFT), CloudWatch (CW), S3, and Secrets Manager (SM).
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Angular, and NestJS.
- Strong database design and optimization skills, including DDL and indexing.
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and SQL-based solutions.
- Experience with API integrations and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud automation, ERP integration, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SCADA operations, AWS Glue, Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including SOX and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining Confluence pages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, IT Project Management (PMP, Agile, SAFe), or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience creating stories and tasks in Jira.
- Experience with QMetry and/or Playwright for feature testing and test case execution.
