On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer for a 6 month contract to hire.
Job Overview
As a member of a cross-functional team, the Full Stack Cloud Application Developer will contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions that solve complex business and technical challenges. This role requires a combination of strong software development skills, excellent communication, and production support experience to build and maintain mission-critical enterprise web applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, developers, QA, and support teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production support.
- Modernize existing applications using a cloud-first, secure-by-design, API-first approach with microservices architecture.
- Support continuous integration, automated testing, and production deployments.
- Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native applications.
- Contribute to ongoing application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of Full Stack development experience building enterprise applications, services, and microservices using:
- C#
- .NET
- React
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- SQL
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience building responsive user interfaces following modern UI/UX best practices.
- Production support experience for enterprise applications.
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
