Full Stack Cloud Engineer (2 Openings) – Hybrid in Chicago IL or Tempe AZ. Local Candidates only!
We are seeking two experienced Full Stack Cloud Engineers to join a high‑impact technology team working on modern cloud‑native applications. This role is ideal for engineers with strong AWS expertise, serverless experience, and a passion for building scalable, distributed systems.
Work Location: Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ
Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Interview Process: 2 rounds
Rate: 60-80/hr
About the RoleYou will contribute across the full stack—owning both application development (TypeScript/SQL) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform). This role includes collaborating across multiple enterprise teams, participating in design discussions, and helping drive technical strategy within an established cloud ecosystem.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years working with distributed architecture in AWS or another cloud provider
- 5+ years of TypeScript development experience (required)
- Experience with serverless computing, ETL pipelines, and relational databases
- Comfortable integrating on‑premises systems with cloud solutions
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
- 2+ years experience working in an enterprise‑level environment
- Golang is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Building financial applications
- Experience working with data visualization tools or workflows
