Full Stack Developer-Whippany, NJ (Onsite)

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join its technology team in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern front-end technologies along with back-end development using Java/Spring Boot and/or .NET Core. Candidates with strong Java development experience are highly encouraged to apply.

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications, APIs, and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

Build and support both front-end and back-end components of software solutions.

Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and QA teams.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term technical solutions.

Follow secure coding standards, testing practices, and deployment procedures.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Contribute to technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience
Front-End Technologies

• React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• JavaScript, TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3

Back-End Technologies

• Java and Spring Boot (preferred)
• .NET Core
• Node.js or similar frameworks

Additional Technical Skills

• REST API and Microservices Development
• Database Design and Development (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• CI/CD and DevOps Tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Skills

Experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments.

Strong understanding of application security, risk, and controls.

Experience with large-scale enterprise application development.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
