Title:- Full Stack Developer Advanced

About the Role

This opportunity is with the Commercial Banking Billing Enhancement Group, focused on building and enhancing payment solutions. The team develops customer-facing applications that enable businesses to submit invoices and settle payments with external vendors through the Bill.com platform.

This is a hands-on 80% Backend / 20% Frontend development role where you'll contribute to the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications using modern Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Build and enhance backend services with a focus on performance and reliability
  • Develop frontend components using React
  • Design APIs, integration patterns, and scalable system architecture
  • Work with Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions
  • Develop applications using Cassandra and CockroachDB
  • Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based private cloud environments
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements in reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC

Must Have Skills

  • 12+ years of Full Stack Development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Experience with React
  • Strong experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with Cassandra DB and CockroachDB
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments
  • Strong understanding of scalable system design and API development

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Payments or Banking domain
  • Experience designing distributed, event-driven applications
