You barely write code yourself anymore. You work 90 to 100% with AI agents and steer on architecture, quality and direction. Writing code by hand is the exception, not the rule.
For a SaaS scale-up in Amsterdam (seed funded, Series A planned toward the end of the year) I am looking for a Full-Stack Tech Lead who already works this way, or steps into it without hesitation.
Salary: 95/115k per year, plus ESOP with a 1 year cliff. The cash/equity split is negotiable.
What you do
- You own features end to end, from idea to production, together with one of the squads
- You build almost entirely with AI agents and safeguard architecture, maintainability and technical quality
- You make decisions and stay involved long enough to see how they play out
- You work directly with the CTO, the tech lead, the product managers and the data lead
- You raise the level of the team (two squads, commerce and visibility, each with a PM and two interns)
What you bring
- At least 8 years of experience, built up across 2 or 3 companies where you stayed long enough to see your own decisions play out
- A strong general technical foundation: architecture, system design, maintainability
- Ownership and proactive communication. This weighs more than any specific stack
- You are comfortable building almost entirely with AI agents
Python is a plus, not a requirement.
Practical
- Full time, no 32 or 36 hours, and no side activities. This is a 100% commitment
- At least 3 days in the Amsterdam office
- You already live in the Netherlands and hold a full work permit. No sponsorship and no relocation available
- Part of the process is a real world coding assessment (read in data, process it, report back). Expect this to be a serious step
