Keep Rising builds technology on heart drive, not just hard drive. They help advisors, coaches, therapists, and case managers stay meaningfully connected to their clients between sessions, where real life happens and most change is won or lost. AI does the heavy lifting. Humans do the uplifting - that's the architecture, not a tagline.
Keep Rising is a small, founder-led team building Keep Rising Lite, an SMS-first extension of the platform, and KOVA, an AI journey builder that turns a client description into a full, personalized behavior-change plan in under a minute.
What you'll build:
- Keep Rising Lite: a HIPAA-aware texting layer, SMS gateway integration, and structured AI-driven journeys reaching clients who will never download an app.
- - KOVA: the AI journey-building engine, and the advisor dashboard on top of it.
- - Front-end and product experience: onboarding flows, advisor and client-facing UI, day-to-day polish.
- - AI and automation: connecting Claude and ChatGPT into workflows using MCP and agentic tooling, for the product and internal operations.
Must-haves:
- Real, hands-on experience with agentic AI tooling (Claude Code or equivalent) and the MCP protocol.
- - Full-stack capability with genuine front-end ownership.
- - Startup instincts, comfortable wearing multiple hats, energized by ownership.
- - A collaborative, question-asking approach.
- - Comfortable overlapping meaningfully with Pacific time for syncs.
Strong pluses:
- UI/UX and visual design sense.
- - Experience in health, wellness, recovery, coaching, education, or another mission-driven space.
- - Familiarity with HIPAA-adjacent product work.
- - Experience with messaging or SMS platforms (Textline, OhMD, Spruce, Twilio, AWS Pinpoint/SNS, or similar).
How they work:
Lean and fast-moving, working closely with Renee (President, product) and Matt (lead developer), with real independence from day one. Communication happens primarily through Slack and Notion, shipping continuously rather than in rigid sprints.
Compensation and logistics:
Rate discussed individually based on experience and scope. Contract (1099) to start, with a clear path to full-time as the business grows. Fully remote, with meaningful Pacific-time overlap required for syncs.
