Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focused) – Fin Crime

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

Contract: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong front-end focus to join a high-profile Financial Crime (Fin Crime) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical initiatives within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.
• Develop and integrate APIs to support application functionality and business requirements.
• Contribute to back-end development activities using Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, engineers, testers, and architects.
• Participate in code reviews and support best-practice software engineering standards.
• Assist with testing and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with React and modern front-end development practices (approximately 70% of the role).
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
• Solid Java development experience (approximately 30% of the role).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with QE/Test Automation tools and frameworks.
• Previous experience working within Financial Crime, Banking, or Financial Services environments.
• Prior experience working with NAB.
